After arriving in Bombay, Likhmaram began working as a daily-wage carpenter, taking on demanding site work that required precision, speed, and consistency. These years were defined by long hours and relentless learning, where every project became a classroom.

While working on carpentry assignments, he gradually became involved in home décor and interior sites, moving beyond execution into observation. He began understanding the larger system behind interiors—design concepts, site supervision, material selection, workflow coordination, and project management.

Rather than limiting himself to a single trade, he absorbed every aspect of the process—from raw structure to finished space.

Within five years of on-site experience, Likhmaram had developed a comprehensive understanding of interiors, not just as craftsmanship, but as a discipline requiring planning, leadership, and accountability.

With this foundation, he established his own interior firm, Aakruti Interior.

What began as a modest practice steadily grew through trust, execution quality, and consistent delivery. Over the years, Aakruti Interior expanded across Pan-India, undertaking a wide range of major residential and commercial projects.
